What gifts did you give? What gifts did you receive?

Physical Gifts
Camp Love Gifts
Gave: I made a knitted blanket with the Camp logo in the middle.
Received: A baller hand-made shoulder bag made from fabric from the craft house and bike parts.

Christmas
Gave: Embroidered Peace Flags

Received: Hand-made journal from re-used materials (cardboard & orange crates) with hand-made journal pages from scrap paper.

There seems to be a theme of sustainability in the gifts that I've received. My friends and family get me. :)

Who came into your life in 2012?

...My New Housemates...Camp Bethel Staff and Campers...BVS Orientation Unit...Office Staff...A New Church...

Thinking about who has come into my life is also thinking about seasons of my life this past year. Who came into my life and when says everything about what I was doing. People have physically come into my life for short seasons, 3 weeks or 3 months, at  time. As the seasons change, we part ways saying good-bye to our time spent together but grateful for moments lived and learned together.

What’s been the best decision you made this year?

When I committed to reading a bit of the Bible everyday. I didn't follow a plan, but I just worked my way through a book at a time and then chose the next book that I wanted to read. I might look into a reading plan to work through the whole Bible by the end of next year or I might continue on my current path.
